Girard Pressed Steel Electric Toy Range in Box N Mint Works. Offered for sale is a near mint example of a 1930's fully operational toy electric range. Made by the Girard Model Works, Inc. of Girard, PA. This toy measures about 8.5" high x 9.5" wide x 5.25" deep and is constructed of enameled pressed steel. The range comes with its original box and is near mint. The colors are very bright, there is very light wear here and there. No dents, dings or rust. It works perfectly, it heats up quickly but, I didn't want to overheat it and cause damage. It even has the original aluminum pot with wooden handle that is also near mint/mint. The original Bakelite plug has a small chip out of it. Has the original cord as well. The box, too, is in great condition with no splits, tears, or holes, and almost no observable wear except some pencil writing. This is an extremely hard toy to find in this condition.
