It was once a display case that sat in a country store where ladies would purchase their hosiery. The glass top and sides are original with gold stenciling on the original front glass, which reads Darn-Saver Guaranteed Hose 2 for 25 Cents Guaranteed 2 Months. It has a wood base and a wooden hinged back door, which is locked by small pins that slide down to lock the door to the sides. Felt has been added to the inside wood base, as well as a graphic of pretty young ladies to the inside of the back door.
