Early 1900s Dayton 8oz Computing Scale Co. Green Style 221
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
A staple in general and country stores in the 1800's and 1900's, this Dayton 8 ounce scale is in beautiful working condition and will make a nice addition to your display. It is a style 221 from The Computing Scale Company, which was headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. It is complete with a metal bowl on the left side and a glass counterweight on the right side of the scale. Some minor wear on this previously restored scale, but it displays beautifully. A small bend in the scale needle can be seen, as it touches the measurement scale slightly. Very heavy, but built to last! This is an oversized shippable item.
