ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This beautiful 1936 advertising calendar has a great image, painted by Bradshaw Crandell, of a pretty young lady in an orange evening gown sitting on an ottoman, next to a parrot on a perch. It is inscribed Seven Square Feet of Attention Compelling Advertising, the Gerlach Barklow Co., Joliet, Illinois. These calendars were shown to potential customers by salesmen who had to carry them around so there is only a January month sheet on the calendar. The calendar measures 46 tall by 21 wide and is in excellent condition with two creases from folding. 14017-31RPP
