ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Decals have been around as an advertising promotional for many years. These were normally water transfer and were used as different applications. This scarce set of three unused decals dates from the 1930's and advertises Texaco Marfax Lubricants. The three decals are of a bear cub and a Texaco Star emblem in different poses. The wax paper backing is inscribed Don't Hibernate - Insulate ! and list Thuban Shifter Grease, Marfak Chassis Grease, and Insulated Motor Oils. The decals each measure about four inches tall by two inches wide and are in excellent condition with darkening of the paper surface. These are great and really not sure how they were used. One corner of the backing has torn loose around a decal. 14725-41WP
