ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This NOS set of GM piston rings dates from the 1950's and comes in its original, unopened box. The tin lid of the box is embossed Genuine GM Parts and the cardboard sides have the Bowtie emblem and a re inscribed Cromflex Piston Ring Set Chevrolet '41 - '49 Truck (w/325 engine) Engineered To Restore Power - Economy - Performance. I'm not sure about the 235 engine. I thought they used the 216 engine throughout the 1940's. Anyway, that's what it says on the box. The rings are part no. 3704052 and are for standard bore to .009 over. The box measures about 3 1/4 tall by 4 3/8 square and is in excellent unopened condition with minor wear and soiling on the cardboard sides. 14594-41EW
