Back before the computer era these manuals were used to order parts. This manual, no. 24, dates from August 1946 and lists Inlite brake lining and clutch facing applications for cars and trucks from the early 1930's through to 1946. United Motors was a parts division of General Motors, like Delco, but they manufactured replacement brake parts for all American cars and trucks, regardless of manufacturer. These old parts manuals are great reference books when you're trying to identify NOS parts or figure out what interchanges with what. The catalog , service bulletins, and extra fliers add up to a couple hundred pages of information in the original dark green binder with a silhouette image of an open touring car and the inscription United Motors Service on the front cover. It measures about 11 1/2 tall by 9 1/2 wide and is in excellent condition with some wear on the edges and on the spine. We have just reduced this price to make room for new inventory. 14625-WT
