ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This pair of colorfully lithographed advertising postcards dates from around the turn of the twentieth century and has wonderful images of a couple of the machines manufactured the J. I. Case Threshing Machine Company in Racine, WI. One postcard has an image of a steam traction engine, another name for an antique tractor. The other has an image of a ten ton steam roller with a cash price of $1980.00. Below the image it is inscribed Warranted to do all or anything that can be done by any style or make of 10 ton roller. All Road Rollers not drawn by horses are Traction Engines. The Case trademark Eagle on the Earth is on each postcard. The postcards measure three and a half inches tall by five and a half inches wide and are in excellent condition with minor edge and corner wear and light staining. One card has a crease in the lower left corner. The price is for the pair. 14795-WT
