ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This Tin Wind-up Motor Boat is made by Linstrom Toy Co. has a fixed key, very nice lithograph, and runs great. The rudder has a spring so it can be set to run in a circle in either direction. There is an interesting note that has been taped to the bottom probably from the 1940's or 50's when the toy was new. I will put -------where it cannot be read. "---------Thorp, I raised this for you on the side of my----- nearest the river. It's a motor boat; we know that you ---- row but we think that musclar women aren't as attractive as---. This is for you so that you won't get muscle bound." (Misspelling was left alone). This is a great toy with a wonderful message. Inv#7490.
