ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This colorful cellophane covered cardboard display box dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's and originally held rolls of Curtiss Fruit Drops. There is and image of an open roll with candies spilling out on the lid and sides. The lid is designed to fold into a slanted base for the candy box to rest on and there is a diecut flap on the back of the box that folds up to complete the display. Closed the box measures about seven and a quarter inches tall by nine and a half inches wide by two and three quarters inches deep and is in excellent condition some wear on the edges and corners. There are areas along the edges where the cellophane is beginning to peel. 15350-51IE
