These new car dealers kept very little inventory and customers would order their cars, built to their specifications, at the dealership. This wonderful Pyramid Sales Portfolio, manufactured by the Michigan Book Binding Company in Detroit, would be set up in the dealer's showroom so customers could study the car models, colors, and available options, and then order exactly what they wanted. The Pyramid Sales Portfolio is exactly what its name implies. The covers fold into a triangular easel for the spiral bound Hudson Model catalog to rest on. On the cover the catalog has a great art deco style image of a car orbiting the Earth on a green strip and is inscribed Wherever you go ... the world over ... ride the Green Lane of Safety in a new 1939 Hudson. There is a separate color catalog attached to the easel with large samples of the available colors. Folded up the display measures twenty-four inches tall by nineteen inches wide. It is in excellent condition with some splitting of the board covers along the edges and spines. The damage has been stabilized with hinge tape. 15315-51IPP
