ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This scarce stainless steel lighter was manufactured by Ritepoint in the late 1950s and commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the building of the ESSO refinery in Baton Rouge, LA. These lighters may have been given to refinery employees. The top is engraved with the name A. M. Scott and bottom has a gold label attached that has the ESSO oval emblem in the center and the inscription Baton Rouge Refinery 50th Anniversary 1959. The lighter measures two and a quarter inches tall by one and a half inches wide and is in excellent used condition with some minor scratches on the back and some pocket wear. 15913-RT
