ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This new old stock car accessory, still in its original box, was manufactured by the Jim Robbins Company and dates from the late 1930s. The Airfoil bug and snow deflector mounts on the automobile's hood, just behind the ornament, and forces the air to blow around the windshield. It is a clear plastic vee shaped panel that comes with the mounting hardware. The box has an image of a mounted airfoil on the front and directions on the back. In the box it measures five inches tall by five inches wide and is in excellent condition. This example does have some box wear and there is a worn Sunoco decal on the lens, indicating that it was sold at a filling station. The box is complete with creases and edge wear. 15933-40QI
