ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This looks like your everyday glass paperweight that would keep your paperwork from blowing away on your desk as your fan tried to cool you off on a hot summer day. Upon closer inspection, it has five small dice inside the glass along with advertising for Y & B Coal! The ad states Try Your Luck With A Ton Of Y & B Coal with a picture of a donkey kicking the wooden cart with Y & B's logo in place of the cart wheel. Due to the dice moving around in the paperweight, a few letters have worn away on the paper ad. It stands an inch tall and three inches across each side. The bottom of the heavy glass is textured and has a metal bottom that has oxidized and has a few dings with a bend or two. No chips or scratches on the glass itself, it looks great for its age. We date this from the early 1930's. We have other types of these paperweights, please search our inventory! 18977-YU
