Gypsy Fortune Teller Battery Operated Boxed Works Super Rare. Here is one of the most coveted battery operated toys around, the Gypsy Fortune Teller. Made in Japan by Ichida 1950's. This is the exact same toy sold at Morphy's auction house in March 2019. Not another version of this toy this was the one sold for $2750 plus you add 28% buyer's premium and tax and the cost goes over $3700. It does work perfect, just checked it and the cards dispense as they should. Near mint, just a small hole in the hat. has a little litho loss in one corner inside the battery compartment. Very clean toy. 10.5 inches tall. Arm with crystal ball moves, head raises and eyes light, then a fortune teller card comes out of her hand. (SEE THE VIDEO JUST UNDER THE DESCRIPTION). Has the pearls around her neck. There are 19 cards, 16 are original. Box has wear, it does have an insert. The box top is lined. These are very hard to find in any condition.
