ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Marx Dick Tracy Siren Squad Car Rare Friction Version N Mint, 1940's. Here is one Dick Tracy car you don't see everyday it's the friction version with the gun that protrudes through the window which is connected to a grinding wheel for sparks. Unfortunately the small metal gun is missing, the flint holder and the grinding wheel are present. The car is in near mint condition. Real clean and nice paint, nice and clean front grill and bottom. Some light scratches here and there and two small dings on the roof. It has the light fixture which is capped off since this version didn't use a light. The friction works but, it's very stiff from none use. Because of that the siren doesn't really work. The toy is so clean it could not have been used much at all. I have had it for 20 years. It is 11 inches long. Still has the direction stamp on top. Two back wheels are wood by design and the two front are rubber. The rubber has hardened over time and is slick.
