Bubbles Washing Bear Tin Battery Operated Near Mint Boxed 50s. Here is a nice Bubble Blowing Washing Bear. I have never listed one of these before. The toy is in near mint condition with really little to no wear on the tin. The blue tub has some wear. There seems to be some kind of shellac on parts of it for some reason. A very small hole on one outer edge. The clothes are clean as well as the fur. Has the flower in her hair. Battery compartment is clean. She works except she doesn't quite reach the air hole so there is no way to check it out with bubble solution. Probably the paper or rubber bellows within are all dried up anyway which is almost always the case with these type toys. She goes up and down with her wand inside the tub making a squeaking sound. (SEE THE VIDEO JUST BELOW THE DESCRIPTION). It is 7 inches long, made in Japan by Yonezawa in the 1950's. The box is an older replica that is in very good condition. Great for display.
