ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Milwaukee's oldest shoe company began in 1843 and had a solid footing employing many workers until it dissolved in 1924. This embossed metal sign dates from the late 1910's to the early 1920's and is in amazing shape for it being a century old. The colors are sharp and vibrant with just some small wear on the edges and corners. Originally hung with a metal chain, a small hole was added in each corner, so the show owner could fasten it to the wall without it swinging when the wind blew. The Bradley Shoe is embossed on the left side, and For Men And Women is on the right with only Men and Women being embossed. The center triangle is also embossed, but the words on it are not. A small scratch inside the triangle and a two small chips can be seen at the bottom of the sign. The original chain is long gone, but a newer chain has been added to give you an easy way to display.
