ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Dating from the early 1900's, this rare tin sign was given to soda fountain owners to display in their windows or on their walls for customers to ask for Hires Root Beer. The sign has a tin face with the an embossed oval where the young lady is sipping from a glass. The back is cardboard with a paper note from Hires, which is titled For Your Profit, and details how this sign will increase sales by displaying it, plus cleaning instructions. Some wear can be seen in the upper right corner, with a scratch in the lower right corner. A small ding can be seen in the upper left corner.
