Mail Pouch Chew Tobacco Vintage Metal Thermometer TCA Tru-Temp 39 Inch. Here is a very nice metal Mail Pouch thermometer in good original working condition. It is about 38-1/2" tall and 8" wide. There is a 48 near the 120 degree mark. I thought this could have been the year but, someone said it's the tube size. Consensus says it's early to mid 70's which would put it in the 50 year old range. Made by Tca Tru Temp. Some light wear and scratching here and there. No dents, dings or rust. Very nice red back. The glass thermometer is a little loose so, I put some Dap clear Stik A Rounds on the bottom to secure the tube. Check out my vintage toy collection and advertising.
