ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Very rare late 1950's black plastic bottle carrier that held four six packs of 12 oz. bottles of Coca Cola. It was manufactured by the Richardson Co. and is constructed of hard black plastic with molded handles and four divided sections, one for each six pack. The outside is decorated with recessed bright yellow panels with red embossed lettering. The sides are inscribed Drink Coca Cola in bottles and the ends are inscribed Enjoy Coke King Size, 24 12 oz. The crate is in excellent condition with a crack in one of the handles and minor stains and foxing in the yellow portions. I can't find another example of this carrier in and price guide or on line. It would be perfect for the Coke collector who wants something out of the ordinary. 13040-21RP
