This is an un-used boxed set of Tootsietoy Bedroom Furniture. Tootsietoys are made by Dowst Brothers of Chicago. This set is from the 1920s. The set is tied to the cardboard backing that holds it in the original box. Set consist of a single bed, chair, rocking chair and a dresser. Other sets of furniture were available so you could furnish a complete doll house. All pieces are in mint un-played with condition. The underside of the cover has a cellophane bag glued to it. In the bag is a little booklet called The story of the Tootsietoy Tots. Along with a short story are ads for the other Tootsietoy furniture sets. The box is 7" by 5". Original box is very good with one broken corner and scuff mark (see photos). Shipping to the west coast will be $6.00; your ZIP may be cheaper.
