Circa 1940s 4 oz. tin with cardboard sides and a tin top and bottom. It is decorated in red, white, and blue, and held Ammen's Powder, manufactured by Chas. Ammen Co., Ltd. in Alexandria, LA. It was an antiseptic powder recommended for prickly heat, insect bites, sunburn, nettle rash, chafing, and all minor skin and foot irritations. The side of the tin is inscribed Exclusively packaged for the armed forces so this tin was sent to the troops during WWII. It is in good condition with creases, wear , and discoloration on the sides and edge wear on the lid. 12332-11QT
