ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Extremely scarce new old stock Coca-Cola six pack carrier sleeve and Christmas sleeve is a century old and is a great addition to any Coca-Cola collector's home. This amazing example features the iconic smiling Santa Claus to brighten up grocer's shelves at Christmas time. Coca-Cola would issue these to the local grocery store and the owners would slide these over the regular six pack cardboard carriers. Many were thrown in the trash, as once Christmas was over they were not needed any longer. This one survived and remains in immaculate condition. On the side with Santa it reads 'Drink Coca-Cola Delicious and Refreshing'; and on the ends it reads ' Serve ice cold with sandwiches cookies cheese and crackers or with meals at any time'. In small print a the base of each end, it reads 'Copyright Coca-Cola Co. Litho in U.S.A. It measures 8 inches tall and 12.5 inches wide and opens up. This one has not been opened, it has remained flat the past 100 years. An original cardboard six pack container is included to make this a nice set to display. 17847-OPP
