Texaco Safe Driver Pins were started in the early 1950's to encourage safe driving habits and bring attention to exceptional drivers. They were awarded to drivers who demonstrated safe driving skills and no accidents. These were highly valued by the drivers and they were worn proudly. Great design with enamel gold tone and a full color Texaco Star emblem over a shield inscribed Safe driver no accident in 19 years. It is in excellent condition and is a scarce Texaco star item. We have seen many of these for Coca Cola drivers but only a few for Texaco. A perfect gift for any Texaco past employee or collector. Shipping included to USA buyers. 1398-ET
