ITEM DESCRIPTION:

In the early 1900's Americans were introduced to many over the counter medicines that would treat a variety of illnesses. One such product was Nature's Remedy that was readily available in just about any general store. The small metal box only cost twenty-five cents and claimed it cured constipation, rheumatism, dyspepsia, just to name a few. The artwork on this piece is amazing, as it shows men on each side and ladies in the middle. The colors are vidid and have stood the test of time. Some slight water damage on the top of all three sections has stained the cardboard, most notably the center section. One inch of cardboard loss on the left upper corner of the center section, and some slight edge wear. Based upon the colors of the piece it was used sparingly, and the water damage happened during storage. Very minor damage on the base of the sign, also.
