ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Measuring sixty-three inches long, this is the largest of the Kay Frames that was produced to frame Coca Cola cardboard signs during the 1940's and 1950's. They feature wooden top and sides with decorative ends and a metal medallion at the bottom with the iconic Coca Cola bottle in the middle. The cardboard signs were interchangeable and the vendors slid them out the top with ease. This cardboard sign is double sided and dated 1954. One side reads Join the friendly circle and features friends sharing Coke on a park lawn. It is marked Display July, August, September, October. The other side reads Coke Time and features a family of four roasting popcorn and drinking Coke. It is marked Display November, December, January, February. Both sides are very colorful and sharp, with just some light wear over the years. You do not see the larger signs with frames anymore, so don't miss out on this great sign!
