Signs were made to last in the early 1930's, just like this beautiful Firestone Tires porcelain example! Measuring twenty inches tall by forty-eight inches long, the colors on this original sign are amazing and vibrant. The white outer boarder has some minor chips in the porcelain, and is marked Baltimore Enamel, 200 Fifth Ave N. in the lower right corner. Also in the white border, many of the original aluminum grommets are still installed. The larger holes just inside the border have some slight chipping in them from the age of the piece. The center field is just amazing and you could not ask for a better looking porcelain sign that is almost a century old. Don't let your neighbor beat you to this incredible piece of history!
