Dating from the 1940's, this type of sign was used by Coca Cola to produce multiple revenue generating ads for their customers. The local bottlers applied decals to these fifty inch signs that could be displayed vertically or horizontally. This horizontal sign has the rare decal of Coca Cola's Sprite Boy, who made his debut in 1942. The decal reads Yes! Coke is still 5 Cents while he gives you a thumbs up beside the iconic hobble skirt bottle. The other letters on the sign spell out Lunch which means this sign was used at your local diner or soda fountain. The sign is in amazing shape, with just a few small chips on the outer frame. A small ding can be seen on the face of the sign as well. The decals are in almost perfect shape as well, with just a small crack or two from age.
