This is a unique Black Mammy clothes or crumb brush probably made by the Rhody Brush Company in Woonsocket, Rhode Island (not marked). Made during the 1930-1950 period, it is 4.5 inches tall and remains in excellent condition as it was likely never used or used very seldom. These brushes were made in different sizes and colors and often given as novelty gifts.
