ITEM DESCRIPTION:
For your consideration is Goblo the Gobbling Goose. This is a lithographed tin wind-up toy made by Girard Model Works in Erie, PA. in the 1920s. Girard was bought out by Marx in the 1930s. Overall length from bill to tail is 9 and he stands 5.5 tall. When wound with the attached key he hops along bouncing up and down as if pecking the ground. To see this and other toys we offer in action click on the video link below then on VIDEOS at the top. This is the toy that Unique Art copied when they made Gertie the Galloping Goose in the 1930s. I also have Gertie for sale in my store. Both make a great combination on the shelf. Condition is very good with play wear and a slight push in on the left side. Great old working toy with a very nice petunia
