We are offering a classic in the tin toy world. This is Lil' Abner and his Dogpatch Band windup toy. Toy was made by Unique Art in 1945 of lithographed tin. When wound with the attached key Lil' Abner dances as Daisy Mae plays the piano, Pappy Yokum plays the drum and Mammy Yokum directs from atop the piano. Toy is 9.5 inches wide with Pappy attached, 5.5 inches deep and 8.5 inches tall to the top of Mammy Yokums hat. This is an excellent working toy and guaranteed to get you laughing. Toy does show play wear; Lil' Abner has a scratch on his right abdomen, Daisy Mae has wear on both arms. There is an On-Off switch on the end of the piano near the key.
