Country Store Oriental Ginger Tin
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
The Oriental Ginger Tin container was a beautiful, versatile storage for country stores. It has an intricate design and a tight fitting lid. This great country store piece is circa 1900's - 1920's tin that held 5 lbs. of Crystallized Oriental Ginger, manufactured by Albert L. Rich, Inc. in New York. It has large aesthetic style emblems on the front, back, and top and is inscribed "a delicious sweet meat" on one side and "aids digestion" on the other. It is in excellent condition with a dent on the lid, a dent on the right side, and small nicks and scratches. Great colorful display for any shelf in your kitchen. 1941-RT
