Viavi Cerate 1920s Medical Tin in Box Skin Salve Super Rare. Here is a great find. This almost 100 year old Viavi Cerate tin is near mint. No dents, dings or rust. The top pop off lid is excellent. The tin has great brown lithography. There are 4 paper labels on each side and miraculously they are all intact with hardly any wear. This was used as a skin salve on minor burns or abrasions. It is empty. Over the years I have seen a 3oz and 5.25oz versions but, never this large 21 oz tin. It is 5 inches tall X 3.35 inches wide. This must have been used in a hospital because the price is $30.00 back in the day. To have an original box for this is so rare. It is in good condition except the top and small flap is missing.
