Circa 1909 National Sportsman Watch Fob with Deer

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Manufactured by the Robbins Co. of Attlesboro, Massachusetts/Mass/MA, this goldtone watch fob was created for the National Sportsman magazine circa 1909. Advertised as a Magazine of Good Fellowship for Lovers of Sport with Rod, Dog, Rifle and Gun, the magazine was located in Boston. The front of the fob has a large deer whose snout sticks out from the face and there is a pair of crossed fishing rods (I think they're fly rods) with a rifle across the top of the rods. A banner beneath the equipment reads National Sportsman. The gold coloring shows wear.
