Villeroy and Boch Majolica Clover/Butterly Plate

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

I believe this piece of majolica was made by Villeroy and Boch. The front of the plate features almost a palm frond on basketweave pattern with clover and a butterfly. It's very cute. The butterfly is pink and white with brown spots on the wings and brown legs and antennae. The clover is decorated in pink and blue with some brown as stems. There is minor flaking on the raised parts which is typical with majolica. It still displays quite well.
