ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Advertising Live and Let Live medallion (medal) made of metal, probably bronze. Medallion was awarded by Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. for a safe driving record. In 1947 Aetna Casualty & Surety Co. made a public service film using a toy tabletop town. In the scenes toy cars were used produce a safe driving film. Title of the 10 minute film was Live and Let Live. These medallions would have been awarded to Aetna customers who had a safe driving record in the late 1940s. Size is 1½ tall, including the loop to attach it to your key chain and 1¼ wide. Condition is never used, NO wear. pc421
