This is a vintage tin advertising piece for Sharps Super-Kreem Toffee; Maidstone, England. It is CA 1920 -1930. This item was meant to be a toy sand pail after the toffee was eaten. Most likely it originally had a tin cover on top that has long since been discarded. Though there are a few minor scratches, the colors are bright and beautiful. The illustration is of a typical sunny summer day at the beach complete with sand castle made by using the pail in the sand. It stands 4.75 inches high and is 5.25 inches across the top of the pail (not including the handle). Would make a great prop for an early 20th Century doll. Please ask questions before you purchase.
