Item: Primitive 19th Century Wooden Dough Bowl
This large, beautiful primitive dough bowl is made from a single piece of poplar and dates from the mid 19th century. It has a pair of beaded bands carved around the outside, one with three grooves and the other with four, as well as a shallow groove cut around the top of the rim. It measures 4 tall by a whopping 21 in diameter and is in excellent condition with a great patina gained from years of use. Two cracks on the sides that were originally repaired with tin patches have been filled more recently. 9063-11TP
