Item: Misses & Children's Clothing J. Bacon & Sons Tradecard
This beautiful diecut cardboard trade card, which dates from around 1900, has a color tinted real photo image on the front of a rosy cheeked little girl, sitting on a cushion, framed in snow covered aspens, with a pair of owls peering down from the branches at her. On the back is an advertisement for J. Bacon & Sons, a Louisville, KY. department store, touting the quality, style, and low prices of their children's clothing line. The trade card measures about 6 5/8 inches tall by 4 3/8 inches wide and is in excellent condition with some creases in the tree branches at the top and a small area of loss of the surface on the back. 16493-71QT
