Unusual Folk Art Fish hand made double sided Herman's Restaurant menu 1940's. Measuring 11 1/2 x 6 at widest part--one side of the menu is all seafood related--the other side is a variety of options. Herman's Sea Food Restaurant was a long time institution founded by Herman Baggett, a World War I veteran (to read the full history of Herman's, visit this great article by David Cathey). Baggett, an army chef and cook at the Black Hotel downtown, opened Herman's in 1939 originally at NW 4 and Hudson. A few years later, the restaurant moved to NW 16 and Classen. There may be a very thin white line which comes from a crack in the camera lens. We combine shipping !!!!!!
