Item: Salesman's Sample Automotive Wheel Bubble Balancer
Rare and interesting salesman's sample bubble type wheel balancer with a patent number, 2502633, that dates it to about 1950. It is two piece, made of aluminum , and has no manufacturer's marks. The cone that the wheel goes onto rests on a base made up of a steel shaft and a tripod aluminum foot. The cone top with the bubble glass is actually large enough to balance a full sized wheel and tire for demonstration purposes, but not nearly heavy enough for daily use. It is in excellent condition with minor wear and paint loss, mainly on the base, and would make a great addition to a collection of salesman's samples or automobilia. 12890-21EPP
