Item: 1940s En-ar-co Motor Oil White Rose Gasoline Bank Canadian
This was a free premium for customers of the Canadian Oil Companies Limited White Rose Gasoline service stations, this miniature square soldered tin oil can bank dates from the 1940s. The front panel is decorated with an image of the En-ar-co Kid holding up his chalkboard above the inscription The Oil of a Million Tests Canadian Oil Companies Limited and the side panels carry advertisements for White Rose Gasoline and En-ar-co grease and gear oil. The handle on the top of the can has been resoldered. The bank measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches square and is in otherwise near mint condition with only minor nicks and scratches. 17575-81RTP
