Item: Five String Banjo Early
An ideal candidate for restoration is this early, unmarked five string banjo. It appears to have its original pegs and head with a nickel plated brass tone ring and thirty-eight brackets plus a tail piece bracket. It measures about thirty-five inches in length with a ten and three quarter inch pot. It's sporting what appears to be a new Grover bridge. The banjo is in as found condition with a nice patina of attic dust. It is missing two strings and the neck is worn at the top from lots of playing. I believe this is a musical instrument that dates from the nineteenth century. 9337-41QTP
