Item: US Spanish American War Flask Label Under Glass
This rare glass souvenir flask dates from the late 1890's and celebrates the U. S. victory in the Spanish American War. It is shaped like a miniature Army canteen and is embossed U. S. on one side. On the other side is a wonderful label under glass with an image of an eagle resting on a Stars and Stripes shield and U. S. and Cuban flags crossed behind him. The bottom of the label is inscribed F. Packham Jr. & Co. Manuf's, Baltimore, MD. The flask measures about five inches tall by four and a half inches wide and is in excellent condition with minor staining on the label. There are metal rings attached to the sides so it may have had a strap originally. 14976-41YWP
