Item: Ice Cream Penny Lick Glass
This is a great heavy glass penny lick. A penny lick was a small glass for serving ice cream, used in the mid 1900's and early20th century. Street vendors often would use this type of the glass and sell ice cream for one penny. It got it's name as customer would lick clean the glass and then give back to the vendor for the next customer. The glass was not cleaned between customers. This is an especially nice one made of heavy glass with no chips or cracks. 3374-WT
