Item: Porcelain Sign Public American Telephone Flange Sign
Circa 1920s - 1930s double sided porcelain flange sign, decorated in cobalt blue and white with an image of a bell within a circle on both sides. In large block letters it is inscribed Public at the top and Telephone at the bottom. The bell is inscribed Local and long distance telephone and under the bell it is inscribed Bell System. The ring surrounding the bell is inscribed American Telephone & Telegraph Co. and Associated Companies. The sign is in excellent condition with a half dozen chips on the face that have been touched up with white paint, as well as minor chipping on the edges. 10792-01ETP
